I can't objectively judge which are best, but the two I'll be listening to are "Together Again" and "Transylvania Mania". I can barely remember any of the other songs.

Oy... this is an easy one:
"Roll in the Hay" and all of Megan Mullally's songs.
That's it.
The rest of the score is forgettably horrid.

Of the three songs I've heard, my favorite was "Together Again." Although I really can't wait to hear Megan's songs, too.

"Forgettably horrid," huh?

The best songs in the show are:
Deep Love
Please Don't Touch Me
Transylvania Mania
Roll in Ze Hay
Together Again
But i would also think two other must-downloads are:
He Vas My Boyfriend - so you get Andrea Martin
Puttin' on the Ritz - really funny, and you get Shuler
Alone - Megan's cut song
Transylvania Mania Blues - A bonus track where Megan goofs off
And then I also recommend:
Surprise
The Brain
Please Send Me Someone
Join the Family Business
Man About Town
- they all aren't phenominal, but they're fun.
The rest are missable.

"Please Send Me Someone"
Seriously? Boooooring. This is where my faith in the human race died, because you would have thought it was the funniest song ever written based on the reaction to this song, but it was nothing more than loving the part from the movie.

People actually think "Transylvania Mania" is a good song? Wow.
In order of priority/quality:
"Deep Love"
"Please Don't Touch Me"
"Surprise"
"Alone"
"Roll in Ze Hay"
"He Vas My Boyfriend"
Megan Mullally does a wonderful job at channeling Madeline Kahn while giving Elizabeth her own touch. She's marvelous. Although people made a huge deal (pun intended) about how dirty "Deep Love" is, what is this, high school? I thought "Please Don't Touch Me" was much dirtier and fun, though I didn't really get why she wanted to wait if everyone else had screwed her.

I love how people say the score is horrible and you don't remember any of the songs, yet when I left the theatre last month I was singing or humming melodies from, Together Again, Don't Touch Me, Roll In The Hay, Join The Family Business, He Vas My Boyfriend, Transylvania Mania, Send Me Someone, Puttin On The Ritz, Surprise, Deep Love, Man About Town, AND Listen To Your Heart. And when I got the OBCR yesterday I knew half of the songs even though i've only heart them once...hmm..

I agree Megan Mullallys's songs are a must along with Together Again and He Vas My Boyfriend . He Vas My Boyfriend was great love but not sure how it would work with audio only because it was really Andrea's expessions that made it funny.
Quick question is Megan's Transylvania Mania song on the cd or just exclusive ti itunes?

Get all. Given that people don't have these songs stick in their memory I have no idea what songs would stick there then. There sure are better and weaker songs in the score, but there is absolutely none that I would not recommend. They're just plain catchy. Well, perhaps "He's loose" and that song Frederick sings when he creates the monster. But other than that, get 'em!

iTunes.
But it's only worthwhile if you're a fan of Mullally.

What about "Alone"? Is that going to be on the CD or just for download?

just get Roll in the Hay, the rest blows chunks.

Hmm, amazon doesn't list "Alone". I would hate that.

I believe Alone and The Transylvania Blues are itunes only. Both are well worth having. Alone was quickly and wisely cut out of town. Mullally sang it as a sort of fantasy number late in the first act, and it stopped the action. But still nice to have.
