Corine, I thought you loved Wonderfultown? :)
Wicked. It is enlightening, thought provoking, and emotionally moving all at the same time. In my opinion, it is by far the best musical on Broadway. Idina really made a name for herself with this show and got a LOT of well deserved attention. Kristin also made a thrilling comeback with this show as did Stephen Schwartz who wrote particularly beautiful music for it (especially Defying Gravity, For Good, & Im Not That Girl). Wicked is the best musical Ive seen in a long time and I HIGHLY reccomend it for ANYONE planning a trip to NYC.

Oh Eupha you brought a tear to my eyes.
Oh, dearie. Make sure you have some Kleenex handy. Nobody likes a snotty nose!
4 years ago, RENT was the most amazing. Now, the cast isn't that great IMO (pop stars are taking it over), but the story is still beautiful and the meaning still stands.
I'd say Avenue Q.

WICKED!!!
Deep and thought provoking!!!
A true musical theatre masterpiece!!!
Second, probably Beauty and the Beast
WICKED WICKED WICKED!!!! My first time seeing Broadway was that show and I was shown everything I needed to see to be shown that Broadway rocks. That show has great jokes, an incredible plot, a speechless set, and all the cast members are FULL OF TALENT!!! The show has a great plot full of songs you'll be singing for years after you see it! Wow! It's great!!!
