is FROZEN still on broadway??
I wouldn't pay a penny to see The Lion King again. If you go see it, let me know. I'll tell you which parts to leave at. :)
Yes, I think CATS will ALWAYS be playing SOMEWHERE.
Hey Millie. . . :)
Have you ever seen the original film THE PRODUCERS? Very different but equally as good!
Hi kjklo, :)
LA LA LUCILLE-YES! George Gershwin's first Broadway Show.
YIP YIP YAHANK - Irving Berlin sings "Oh, How I Hate To Get Up In The Morning" and REPEATS number (in same uniform!) in THIS IS THE ARMY.

Blatantly ripping of Matt_G's choice while trying to appear whitty and hoping that people didn't see his post: Brooked!
Even though Wicklyn sounds far better.
OOOOH. Actually, I think BroadwayAbridged has it the best, RENTlyn. Come on...nobody even flies in Brooklyn...
I'll stick to The Phantom of the Opera

I would say Wicked is the most visually stunning. For most amazing show I would say Caroline or Change(yes I know its not playing anymore but I dont care)
The last show that "amazed" me was Caroline or Change - and unfortunately it's no longer playing on Broadway. Nothing out there at the moment is what I'd consider "amazing".
Dracula
Rent. I just love it.

play: I Am My Own Wife
musical: Movin' Out - I found the choreography and storytelling to be quite amazing, and I was moved to tears numerous times by the excitement I was feeling about the dancing.

Wicked
After WICKED (I previously posted about WICKED on this thread, FYI), Id have to say HAIRSPRAY and RENT.
Mary_Ethel: Yes, I recently saw the movie. I didn't like it as much as the musical, of course, but saw that some lines were taken directly from the movie. It was so different, especially with that "LSD" guy playing Hitler. I was glad they included the Springtime for Hitler bit.
Well, personally, the shows that amazed me on Broadway and are still playing are HAIRSPRAY and RENT. But I haven't seen Wicked and Avenue Q !
Take care

Avenue Q.
Those pupets and characters are all so darn ruvable, they just won me over!
