Hi I am going to New York in November and am in between 2 shows I can see one. School of rock or Waitress which show is better
Which show should I chose?

Waitress.
I don't know what you like and what your interests are so it's impossible to tell you which show to see...but someone said School of Rock, so I said Waitress because it's all subjective. Both shows have fans and detractors... I prefer Waitress but I really enjoyed SOR also. Saw them both more than once..

I agree, see the Color Purple. But out of those two, I prefer Waitress.

Out of the two mentioned, I'd see Waitress....That being said, Dear Evan Hansen and/or The Color Purple are not to be missed.

If those are your two choices, I would watch the films first and see which better appeals to your sensibilities...

Actually most of the people that I have met who loved the movie Waitress were lesser fans of the musical. I think when you get attached to one format, switching is not so easy. I would rather go in cold.
I personally didn't care for School of Rock the movie but loved the show (and I haven't seen the Waitress movie).

My personal preference is Waitress, but you honestly can't go wrong either way. Both are great shows.
