Just wanted to let you know about the White Horse Theater Company production of 'night, Mother, which is having a limited engagement from now through May 19th at the Hudson Guild Theatre (441 W. 26th St, b/w 9th and 10th Aves). The show is directed by Cyndy A. Marion and features Joy Franz* & Laura Siner*.
Marsha Norman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning ‘night, Mother is a thought-provoking theatrical treat celebrating 30 years of gripping audiences as one of the theatre’s most compelling dramas. Thelma is settling in for a typical Saturday night with her middle-aged daughter, Jessie, in their American ranch-style farmhouse. However, once Jessie discovers the whereabouts of her deceased father’s gun, the foundations of their quiet homestead will be violently shaken revealing a new, unexpected perspective on compassion.

You know, 'night, Mother is an excellent play. I saw the original Broadway production. It was so harrowing for me, that I said there and then that I simply could never see it again. I still feel the same way. Great play. Once is enough.
Love this play. It is devastating when done well. Break a leg with it!
