A few weeks ago the audio of Erin Davie and Emily Padgett singing "Who Will Love Me As I Am" was released. I personally didn't like it at all, I thought it was boring compared to the original and lacked the vocal strength brought to the number by Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley. What are your thoughts regarding it?

Here is a link to Davie and Padgett singing "I Will Never Leave You" in studio for the OCR. I loved WATCHING them sing to each other, as well as listening. When I saw them do it on stage at the Kennedy Center, I felt the same way. Now I also love the Skinner/Ripley version, of course, but I try not to compare them.

It's been noted before, but I was startled anew by how much these Hiltons resemble one another. It appears a remarkable bit of casting, and their voices blend effortlessly. I'm a big fan of the original stars and their synergy, but these two actors remint the roles and the song. I don't find a big distinction in the power of the vocals, for what it's worth.
