I have doubts about Azaria, he could do the role acting wise and be great, but he can't sing and Fronkensteen will no doubt have alot of singing to do, that and he's just a rumor that hasn't been confirmed.

That being said, I honestly don't care who plays Fronkensteen anymore cause it does seem like even though this will probably be the big hit of next season, no one wants to be attached to it. I wonder if that means that Matthew Broderick will wind up doing it(kidding...)

One that we know of, which I'm guessing that you are of course, thinking of Puttin On The Ritz. He's going to have more than one song to sing in the show.

As of the reading, he has one song (other than Puttin on the Ritz). It's a love ballad. Currently, Inga, Bluchar (sp?) and Igor also all have one song each. Elizabeth had, at the time of the reading, the bulk of the material, with 5 songs written and a 6th on the way. All tailored to Chenoweth. Which is why it's kind of a big deal that Chenoweth passed on this show.

I don't usually reply to this sort of thing, but everything you just said about who sings what in YF is wrong. Dr. F has a lot of singing in the show.

You'll have to forgive me, but seriously, the fact that people on hear claim to know what they're talking about when the show's still *in the works* is BEYOND me (and) utterly hilarious. People, it's not a known fact -- A reading is JUST THAT. Wait for the first batch of tweaking to take place before we lay-out our assumptions, hmm?

So, I heard that Andrea Martin will indeed be playing Frau Blucher...

Still trying to get to who is the current top choice for Dr. Frankenstein. Last I heard they still really liked Zach Levi, and are waiting to see what happens with his TV pilot.

Sure, a casting choice for ze' good doctor would be nice, but I think he's the least interesting character in the show!

So, who is Megan playing? Is she Elizabeth? And Sutton is Inga, right? Who is the thrid person that is confirmed playing?

And Kristen was supposed to play Millie? Seriously? Wow, I can't see that. Sutton was perfect as Millie.

I'm very excited for this show! I'm always excited to see what shows Sutton is in.

So, do they have any plans for a rehearsal yet? Or are they still in the very begining stage? This is going to happen for sure, though, right? I hope so!

Megan is playing Elisabeth, Sutton is playing Inga, Shuler Hensley is playing the Monster.

Kristin Chenoweth was the original choice for Millie, but bowed out to do her failed sitcom. The next choice was Erin Dilly, who bowed out because of an injury, I believe.

Sutton was the understudy who took it to Broadway.

I knew that Sutton was just an understudy and about Erin, but I didn't know about Kristen. I just can't picture her as Millie. Did she ever do any previews, or just a reading?

Dilly was actually fired after one of the final dress rehearsels in out of town. Apparently she just didn't work in the role.

Wow, she was actually fired? I always thought she had to get done because of an injury too. Man, that must be hard, be so close to Broadway, but yet so far away. But at least Sutton got her big break!
