Posted: 3/17/08 at 1:23amwell i live in nyc (well when i'm not at school anyway) so for me seeing a show is a subway ride away, and i always do lotto or rush unless a family member is taking me and got seats in advance or something.
Cages or wings? Which do you prefer? Ask the birds. Fear or love, baby? Don't say the answer Actions speak louder than words. (Tick, Tick... BOOM!)

I am one of those people who does just this. I have honestly seen Phantom well over a hundred times and Les Mis around a hundred times. I clocked in 32 at the revival as well. Young Frankenstein is at about 30 now. I just love live theatre. The live sound, the emotion, the laughter and the live performance. For me the best thing ever is the Broadway understudies sight since I love to see understudies and go for every one and every cast change. I used to have to rely on the message boards or Playbill.com for this sought of thing so this site is a great help.
Sometimes I use a Broadwaybox discount but being I like to sit up front and go on a weekend, I usually can't use a discount. I will buy premium if I have to. I have been blessed with a well paying job and am grateful to be able to afford to go so much.
Of course this has affected my personal life. I was dating a girl who I took to see Les Mis 10 times. After the 10th time she told me she couldn't take it anymore. So now I will be more careful about future dates.
Call me crazy but you only get to do this once and I want to do it right. And when I say right, it's what's right for me. And live theatre just makes me happy
