If the Mark Hellinger Theatre ever returned, I wouldn't mind if it was renamed in honor of Alan Jay Lerner, since Lerner's My Fair Lady, On a Clear Day, Coco and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue all played there.

I have to agree. I'm outraged Idina hasn't had a theatre named after her. Maybe we should re-name the Tony's while we're at it.

How often are theatres named after performers? I mean, I just can't imagine a theatre named "Angela Lansbury Theatre" or "Chita Rivera Theatre"...
