Who do you think is getting a Tony Nomintation so far?

Just curious. I know most of you on here know what you are talking about more then I do.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I? I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Best Revival- GYPSY or Sunday
Best Actress- Patti Lupone, Gypsy
Best Actor- ?
Best Musical- In The Heights

Thats all I can think of!

I've heard a lot about Cat on a Hot Tin roof.

I want to say Christopher Fitzgerald for Best Supporting, but thats because I am quite partial to YF. I would be surprised if it was nominated though.

Concerning YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN: I think Andrea Martin has a real shot at a nomination. Shuler Hensley might get one as well.

I mean the show for best musical.

And I also think Sutton Foster kicks some butt in it, but again, I would be surprised if she was nominated.

F. Actress - Benanti, Scott, Mauzey, Martin, Piel

Play - AOC, Rock, Seafarer, Steps
Revival - Homecoming, Cyrano, Scottish Play, (too many unopened)
Actor - Butz, Freeman, Kline, Lane, Stewart
Actress - Best, Merkerson, Morton, (and in my ideal world Garner and Danes)
F. Actor - Esparza, Norton, Rylance (and in my ideal world Hill and Hinds)

Likely that it will go to Patrick Stewart. No matter what has been written about the production, most critics liked Stewart in it. And it will be fresher in voters' minds. Morgan Freeman or Ben Daniels, if they are excellent, could also be contenders.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

The gals from AUGUST: OC are definitely getting their lead nomination.
Lin-Manuel Miranda in the two categories he is eligible for. His show will also be nominated for Best Musical.
Eve Best for THE HOMECOMING.
LuPone and Russell have their nominations secured in the musical lead actress category.

Olga Merediz (from ITH) will knock one of those women out. I would also say Leslie Kritzer will be nominated there. My guess is those two women replace Ali Mauzey and Sherie Renee Scott (regrettably).

I would love to see Eve Best win for The Homecoming. The ladies in August:Osage were wonderful, that's for sure, but Eve Best just knocked my socks off! (And I still can't find them!)

Patrick Stewart has more than a chance at a Best Leading Actor win. According to some, he's giving the performance of a lifetime in MACBETH. And (sigh) he's never won before.

Okay for ITH:
olga would probably be in for leading actress, yes?
What about Mandy, Karen, and Andrea for supporting? Or would Mandy/Karen possibly be leading? (this seems similar to the jennifer hudson dilemma)

and for supporting actor: i would say robin, but what about christopher?

ah so much talent in that cast.

I certainly hope Olga Merediz gets a nomination, I have only listened to "Paciencia y Fe" from the promo and it is just so incredibly brilliant.

I think Olga would go in as featured and Mandy would go in as leading (although as much as I hate to say it, I don't know if I can see her being nominated).
