You know who.
Spit it out!
Would it be weird to say Fosca? She's so awful to herself, it hurts.

If you mean Fosca from Passion, I kinda like her. And she does get her man.
But about that mean nanny in Mary Poppins?
Oh, I never said I didn't like her. But, let's face it, she may get her man, but wow, she thinks of herself as ****, it seems to me.
I haven't seen Mary Poppins, so I'm not too sure.

Javert is a pretty vicious villain in Les Mis.
Wow...
He's more obsessed than vicious, I think.
The Judge is really creepy and vicious. And, what about Jud? Jud has some problems he needs to resolve.
Mrs. Lovett.
Percival Glyde is a pretty big d*ck.
I don't think Javert is really a villian. He just does what he thinks is best. He follows the law, and hunts down ValJean not because he's a nice guy, but because he broke the law and needs to face the consequences.
^Exactly. Hence my "Wow...", that is one of the most widely-known between-the-lines secrets.
Well, every protagonist has an antagonist. If we look at Valjean as the protagonist, Javert is his antagonist.
Now, if we think of a villain has just some evil person with no motivation besides being evil, than Javert isn't. Most people aren't evil or villainous for the purpose of being an evil, villainous person. So, Javert can have a perfectly pure motivation and still be the villain of the story.
But, maybe I'm using or looking at villain incorrectly.
I don't know about vicious, but I'll go with along with Homer Simpson in that the Phantom is without a doubt the gayest villian of the stage.

Haha, scented candles for the Phantom. But what scent, I wonder?
Javert covers his villainy by obsessing on rules and the law. The one time he's nice he has to suicide 'cause he let his villainous self down. How do you like that take on the role?
I've always looked at Lovett as the villan in Sweeney.
I kind of liken her to Lady Macbeth.
Lady Macbeth is my favorite villan of all time, if that counts.
The Witch in ITW.
Oh, those Sondheim women...
Thinking about this, there are very few obvious villans in musicals... at least no intriguing ones.
The child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or perhaps the plant in Little Shop of Horrors.

The Child Catcher always gave me chills! Kevin Cahoon was great and scared me but not half as much as Richard O'Brien!
Yeah the Child Catcher, also Gaston is pretty nasty in Beauty and the Beast. I would say the Judge in Sweeney is pretty bad.

The Judge and Mrs. Lovett - Sweeney Todd
The Wizard and Madame Morrible - Wicked
Caiaphas - Jesus Christ Superstar
Tom Watson and Jim Conley - Parade
And of course the Disney musicals...
I like how in most musicals there is no definite good or evil, mostly a mix of both. Most have real characters, who all have reasons for which side they chose.
I have to agree with The Judge in Sweeney Todd and Percival Glyde in Woman in White. I would add Captain Ahrab in The Times They Are A-Changin', who is a pretty nasty piece of work.
Radames
Judge Turpin
Ms. Andrews
Glen Gulia (haha)
I never considered Radames to be a villain before, but I guess if you look at certain perspectives of the character..hmm, thats is rather interesting.
How is Radames a villain?

Percival Glyde definately qualifies.
