TOTALLY love Ebay
I'm not even sure where to begin....
On Ebay....most recently, I bought a Playbill from Evita with Patti Lupone (as gift that was later signed by Ms. Lupone). A few years ago I bought a small duffel bag with the Thoroughly Modern Millie logo that was an opening night gift, book called "Six Plays By Rodgers and Hammerstein" (including Oklahoma, Carousel and South Pacific) that is signed by both Rodgers and Hammerstein. One of the best things I found on Ebay was an original newspaper prop from the movie version of Chicago (for those of you who have seen the movie, at the end there are a stack of newspapers, one set of "NOT GUILTY" and "GUILTY" and I bought the "Guilty" version. I framed it and absolutely loved it until I moved last year and it got "lost" somehow.
From the flea market I have a TMM flask with the TMM logo and the date it opened. I also from the flea market, a small blue blanket that was a gift from the opening night of The Producers and a framed photo from TMM taken during the tryout in La Jolla that has a silver frame that says "Throughly Modern Millie La Jolla Playbouse 2001". That last item (and they had only one) came from getting to the flea market VERY early and racing over to TMM table. I was in such a frenzy that I didn't even notice that Sutton Foster sold it to me and was happy to sign it when I finally did realize it was her.
Those are just off the top of my head....
