Got it at the theatre when I saw the show Saturday night. I'm just glad they included the "You have a good third husband, Joanne" scene, that way I can replay Barbara Walsh's "don't talk" speech over and over AND OVER again. It's amazing how this woman nails the role.

Boston here

I ordered and paid last Thursday night 2/8 , got confirmation 2/12 (monday) and its
wednesday 2/14 - still have not received it . I am getting upset already.. They say PS Classics ships it fast.. not really , huh !!! I am very dispointed with PS Classics

i'm trying to see the good in them and just think their delay at responding to the initial request as due to the high volume of people ordering this album.

yup- the mail already came- Wednesday... I hope it will be on my Thursday mail..

It took almost 1 week from the time I order it (NY to MA)

I never got an email saying mine was shipped, but if I track the order on CCNow (the billing company for PSClassics), it says it's been shipped. *shrug*

I'm going to check the mail now. I hope it's there! It's going to be a long drive to rehearsal tonight, given the weather... some COMPANY goodness will be much appreciated.

Bleh, mine has been shipped but is not here yet, and there is a TON of snow here now so I'm guessing it probably won't get here until the weather calms down a little bit.

Inspite of the snow, I got my copy today. Listened to the whole thing straight through, and I am still kind of shaken. *?SPOILERS?* The entire recording seems very immediate and intimate, as though you are sitting in a room with the performers. The choice of book sections to include is great, especially the section before BEING ALIVE. MARRY ME A LITTLE and BEING ALIVE are breath-taking, and LADIES... is even better than I remember - Barbara Wlash gives the song a true dramatic arc and a lot of subtlety especially in the early verses. SIDE BY SIDE BY SIDE was fun and exceptionally clear lyrics. Just a slight disappointment with GETTING MARRIED - I actually think it might be just as funny if slowed down just a hair so all the lyrics come out. She doesn't miss a word, but I can't hear that fast. Going to be up all night listening over and over and over. Worth the wait. (My copy shipped from Bronxville NY, BTW.)

Sorry if this has been asked already (I know there are like 15 threads about this cast recording), but I ordered my cd Monday night and got a confirmation email today saying it's been shipped. How long does it usually take to receive it after it's been shipped? I live in Buffalo, NY, is PS Classics based in NYC?

Just got mine today in the mail. (Im in Boston &ordered 2/9)
I know that I b*tch too much for not getting it yet. But after I got it today .. I was soo HAPPY with PS Classics (my apology for PS C) they did a great job in the CD packaging . I am downloading it to my iPod now and cant hardly wait to listen to it.. Worth the WAit !!! CD contains booklet with b/w pictures from the show and lyrics.
VERY NICE CD !!!

(after 5 mins)I am listening to it right now and its FANTASTIC ! Its exactly how I remember it when I saw it last November 2006 at Ethel Barrymore Theater

I second the motion with you ! Packaging & Ochestration is excellent ---enough reason to buy CD-- Aside from Raul's voice & Stephen Sondheim's heavenly score !!!!
