So as I said in a previous post, I want to know what address people have been using for West Side story because I sent to the one on playbill and it came back.
^ I used the address of theatre, but I gave the letter to the stage door woman and she said she would give it to the cast. So far I have gotten no responce or the letter back. Maybe that's becuase I only put postage on the SASE.
Today I received 2 signed playbills. The first one was my Pippin playbill signed by Priscilla Lopez. I don't even think it took a week. Very fast. The second was a playbill signed by the Michael and Billys of Billy Elliot. Looking into the playbill, it is one from a while back. There are still ads in the back for Blithe Spirit, A:OC, Avenue Q on broadway. Luckily it is with most of the original Billys who have now left the show.
Today I got my responce from West Side Story; one blank and signed Playbill. It's kind of hard to tell who's signature is their's. I think they should have signed in silver since the Playbill is black and white. But I'm still grateful. :)
Yeah, I was really surprised that it came back so fast. But I think I read somewhere in this thread that Wicked sends fan mail out in bulk every few months? Maybe they just started sending back out..but who knows.. maybe I'm just lucky :)
got a playbill signed by the cast of hair today. it took a while, wrote to them back in july, but glad to have it now that they'll be leaving soon for london! :)
So I sent out my first requests today to. Memphis Kristen Chenoweth Alice Ripley
I'm worried there isn't enough postage on the SASE The post office lady was just said to put $1.56 on.... I hope that is enough... How much does everyone else put on?
I live in NJ and only use 2 stamps for 1 playbill from NYC. If I am asking from a tour or asking for more than 1 item, I sometimes use up to 6 stamps. It all depends.
