I made a donation of $100 to Broadway Cares. I thought it would be nice to send it in honor of two performers I admired and took advantage of the option of sending a personal message to them. I told Andrew Rannells how much I enjoyed his BOM performance, and I told Rory O'Malley I enjoyed his BOM performance and work for his "It Gets Better" Project. The organization sent the customary acknowledgement and thanks. I did not know if the guys I sent it "in honor of" would send a thank you. It did not matter that much, as I know they must be inundated with requests and other promotional obligations. Should I have expected a personal thank you from them? I really did not know.

Within the past 2 weeks, I have gotten:
- a signed picture from Patina Miller
- Cast signed Man and Boy playbill
- Signed playbill from Kara DioGuardi

Sent to the cast of CHICAGO after Fan Day (1/30/2011)

Finally got a response today, but it was a blank Playbill with Kara DioGuardi (as they swapped out the one I had sent).

Thank God the stamps weren't tarnished, I can reuse them.

Today I received my Pre-Broadway Aida windowcard signed by Adam Pascal. It took less than 10 days!

Now I just need to get Heather Headley's signature.

When Sierra did POTO at Royal albert hall, I left a letter and stamps and everything at the stage door.
Its been three weeks, I really hope she answer.

Off of topic, but I work at a youth center and one of the girls who comes there often got me a cast signed playbill from Chinglish :)
