I sent something to Bernadette exactly a week ago. Haven't heard back yet, but I know she is excellent with responding, since I mailed to her twice during her run in NIGHT MUSIC. I also sent with it a donation to Barc Shelter, per her request of $10 per autograph.
I got a HUGE SURPRISE MAIL today! Right after Shrek closed, I sent Sutton Foster a Shrek playbill, my Drowsy Chaperone cd insert, and a request for an autographed photo to her fan-mail address on her website. Well, after a year and a half, I finally got all 3 signed and personalized from her. I am sooo happy right now!
How long do you guys give it before you consider an attempt a 'failure'? I sent to Book of Mormon about two months ago and still haven't gotten anything back. I know they're busy, so it's not like I'm bothered over it (I also sent Lin-Manuel Miranda an opening night ItH Playbill during his final run, but figured it got lost in the mega snowstorm). I'm just curious.
Yeah, I sent Andrew Rannells something back in the first week of June and still nothing : I understand he is busy but he isnt Sutton or Joel status yet.
This may be off-topic or not, but I want to request a playbill for The Book of Mormon, but I also want to send letters to Andrew Rannells, Josh Gad, Nikki M. James, and Rory O'Malley as well. Should I combine the letters along with my playbill request or should I send the letters individually?
Today I got a signed picture from Dee Roscioli as Elphaba. I also got a cast signed playbill from The Addams Family with the original cast (not what I had anticipated as I was hoping for the newer cast, because I wanted one with Heidi Blickenstaff, guess I will try again in a couple of months if they don't close.)
^Don't even bother sending one. As far as I know, anyone who sent a request has gotten a letter saying the demand is too great and I sent it the day after the first preview.
I never heard back from H2$, Anything Goes or Book of Mormon. All requests were sent during previews. I did send Sutton my playbill from AG and she signed and returned it (within 2 weeks). I ended up buying a signed playbill from H2$ during Easter Bonnet fundraising (for $50).
I have a Book of Mormon playbill signed by all of the leads (at the stage door) except for Nikki James. Has anyone had luck sending her something to be signed?

I dropped off a package at the Marquis stage door for Bernadette Peters on Wednesday afternoon, August 10 with two items for her to sign: the CD cover of the studio recording of SHERRY! and the playbill of LA STRADA.
I got both signed (and personalized) back in the mail today, Saturday, August 20.
Can't wait to see FOLLIES again this Wednesday evening!

Has anyone had luck with any of them and how long did it take?
What?! I sent mine the day after the first preview and still nothing! Maybe they sent them out in bulk and just sent them out. Hopefully I get mine soon
Has anyone had luck sending directly to Nikki James at Book of Mormon? I have playbill signed by all of the leads except her. Would hate to lose it but if she's good about sending things back, I'd like to give it a shot.

Was this towards my comment? If so, I was actually surprised to see it in the mail today; I'd given up and thought it had gotten lost or they were too busy.
I'm new at trying to collect Broadway signatures and I have a couple of questions. I've been able to get a couple of Playbills signed by individuals that I've sent them to, but how do you go about getting cast signed playbills? Also do performers sign at the stage door before shows or only after. Thanks for any advice.
I had sent letters to How to Succeed during previews. Months later, I received the letter stating demand was too high. Much to my surprise, Today I received an authographed head shot from Daniel Radcliffe, who I had written to seperately, but sent out at the same time. I had also written to BOM during previews, and received a signed playbill within 2 weeks (and im in Toronto)...The only shows that never responded to me where Driving Miss Daisy, and Catch me if you can

On Monday I received a cast signed Addams Family playbill signed by Brooke, Roger and the cast.
