In recent replacements, they waited until 23 days before Megan Hilty was leaving that Kate Reinders was her replacement, roughly a month and a half for Ana Gasteyer to replace Eden, and less than a month to announce Julia Murney and Kendra Kassebaum would be replacing them.

If they follow a pattern of recycling actresses for the roles, Elphaba could be either the Broadway standbys Saycon Sengbloh or Lisa Brescia; the national tour's Stephanie J. Block or Victoria Matlock; Chicago's Kristy Cates or Dee Roscioli. Following the same logic, Glinda could be Broadway standbys Laura Bell Bundy, Stacie Morgain Lewis (also Chicago), Katie Adams, Alli Mauzey; the national tour's Christine DeCicco; Chicago's Stacie Morgain Lewis (previously mentioned) or Erin Mackey.

For Elphaba, I doubt it'll be Saycon because even though I love her, her acting is subpar. Kristy Cates expressed interest in pursuing a career outside of Wicked. Isn't Stephanie getting married soon? I vote for someone new!
For Glinda, Laura won't be Glinda anytime soon and plus, arn't the producers mad at her? I for one vote for Katie Adams!

I think whoever said Erin Davie for Glinda is on to something. She'd be great.

Also-I hope Lisa Brescia gets Elphaba.

Yes, she does. It mostly comes across during "Mother, Darling" but I'm glad she decided not to use her upper-range like Gettelfinger did off-Broadway, that way Davie's voice is closer to Ebersole's Act II vocals...
Can someone at least give us hints about the allegedly confirmed replacement?

popular_elphie - being able to keep information like this to yourself and not be the leak, is a very commendable thing. More people should be like that. However, people who come on these boards an advertise that they know but "won't tell" is just immature, in my opinion. Those people are just looking for attention.
