Who's Your Favortie Jean Valjean?

I live in Texas, and will soon have tickets to see Les Mis at the Theater Under the Stars in Houston. I have heard rumors that Rob Evan, WHOM IS AWESOME, might be the Valjean. I AM EXCITED! However, I got to thinking who is my favorite Valjean. I personally believe Jeff Leyton is the best.... But Colm Wilkenson does a great job too. What do you think?

My favorite Valjean is Jeff Kready. He was the understudy in the revival.

Randal Keith by far! Excellent voice aside, he's one of the few Valjeans whom I actually believe was once a total thug and strong enough to lift a cart. re: Who's Your Favortie Jean Valjean?

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

That I have actually heard or seen? John Cudia. But since Hugh Panaro is my favorite actor I would choose him. But I havent heard him sing the role but I know im too bias to pick anyone over him.

I've seen five Valjeans: Alexander, Geminagi, Drew Sarich, John Owen-Jones, Hugh Panaro & Jeffrey Coon (the last two with the Walnut Street Theatre here in Philly)...and I have to say John Owen-Jones is really what everyone says he is and then some. Definately my favourite!

I will have to say John Owen Jones.

I'm going to have to agree with John Owen-Jones. His voice is utterly amazing. I had the pleasure of seeing him in London two summers ago and he was utterly incredible.

Gary Morris. I never saw him perform Les Miz, but he is JVJ on the three CD Complete Symphonic Recording. I did see him do Bring Him Home with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and it was brilliant.

Of the (ahem) many, MANY I've seen, Randal Keith. I'm fond of David Michael Felty and Bart Shatto as well.

Hugh Panaro!

Of all of the Valjeans, though, I think the most Valjeanish is Alex Gemignani and the most definitive is Colm Wilkinson.

Randal Keith!
How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

It has to be John Owen Jones. I saw him perform in London a few times and he was amazing. Just sorry I missed him during his brief stint on Broadway.
