Although it would be playing against type, I hope they get Uggie out of retirement. Then, they'd have their big name.

For stunt casting, I propose ex-Annie Sarah Jessica Parker as Sandy. She was so persuasive as a dog in Gurney's pay SYLVIA.

Listen, say what you will about "Star-to-Be," but the two actresses who originated that role in the two Broadway productions of Annie were Laurie Beechman and Sutton Foster. So in the past it's been a role for an ACTUAL star-to-be.

Chad Kimball did so well playing Milky White in Into the Woods that I think they are going to get him to play Sandy.

From what I understand the hard casting choices are Cecile and Mrs. Pugh. It seems since actresses have seen Joanne Lumley's performance in "Uptown Downstairs Abbey" nobody wants to play servants.

Cecile and Mrs. Pugh will be played by Anna and Mrs. Hughes from Downton Abbey. Drake will be played by Carson. Thomas will play Rooster, with O'Brien as Lily. Any other questions?
