I know this sounds corny and egotistical.... but...

I like my voice and don't want to sound like anyone else. If I did... why would anyone hire me if they could hire that person? Your voice is what makes you stand out.

Ideally, Donna Murphy. She never ceases to amaze me. Her rich tone, vocal range and beautiful vibrato just keeps me in awe whenever I listen to her. Her "Losing My Mind" is BRILLANT.'

I just finished watching Beaches and without a doubt Bette Midler. Holy cow she is amazing!!!

Well I want to be able to do what Shoshana does in Hair ( I believe in Love) consistanly, not just like 1 time in 25. But I would want Probably a mixture of mine, Tracie Thoms, and Kristins operatic

If we're staying true to gender, Raul Esparza, if I can dream, then Orfeh and to a lesser extent, Sara Ramirez. Both have incredible versatility and richness, even on extremely high notes. I am no fan of all things Wicked but I would venture to say, Orfeh is probably one of the only singers who could effortlessly sing both roles. Where's that darn Trailer Park CD?

My voice (cuz I don't want to sound like anyone else!!) but with the power and ease that Kelli O'Hara has, throw in a bit of that tone that Jodi Benson has, and give me Ashley Brown's belt :)

What can I say? I like the ingenue sound!!

Or like a sound like Raul Esparza's and a tone like Marc Kudish.

Or even Hunter Foster's meets Roger Barts would be amazing, too.

I just want a good voice, I don't care whose it is, just as long as I can sing along with my favourite shows without flinching at my own voice.
