re: Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 1/1/2006

Yay for Spelling Bee...!!
re: Obsession

Today as I was thinking of my "Wish list for 2006" I conclude that I definitely have to go back to NY this year. See, I'm from Guatemala and in less than a year and a half I've been three times to NY... the reason... Broadway Shows.

It all started with The Lion King and Chicago the first trip... then, I was so fascinated that I said "I have to go back this year, plan my trip ahead and watch a few more musicals"... so, 6 months later I went back for a week, and saw 6 shows... then a c

re: Goodbye, 'CHITTY' & 'CHARITY'!

Don't forget about Latinologues... I still don't understand how they manage to extend the original run!?
re: Sweeney Todd - who's seen it?

I saw it from the rear mezzanine... and LOVED IT! What a great experience.
re: Spit

I had front row tickets for DRS and Spelling Bee and oh my! Mr. Lithgow is the Spit King and Jesse Tyler Ferguson would be Spit Prince... I won the lottery so I had him right in front of me... talking about wet experiences, hehe.

Ever regret seeing one show instead of another?

Dracula last year... instead of any other!
re: Who would you like to sound like?

Definitely Norbert!
re: Spelling Bee love!

Totally loved Spelling Bee... It was my first time winning a lottery, so the whole experience was G-R-E-A-T! Loved the cute "Beeing here is w-i-n-n-i-n-g" button they give you when you win.

I'm so sorry I missed Dan Fogler though, but the whole cast was amazing!

re: Britney isn't so

Good neeeeews... she is deaaaad! Thank God!
re: Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 11/13/2005

I'm so glad that Spelling Bee is doing really well again...! Profile for bwayfreakgua | BroadwayWorld Message Board Is Dan Fogler back?
re: Musicals you loved immediately

Avenue Q
Sweeney Todd
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

re: shows that you were not interested in but gave a shot and ...you liked

The 25th Annual Putnam Counting Spelling Bee.

I bought the cast recording and didn't like it at all... one day I tried for the Wicked Lottery, lost... so i thought I should give the "Bee" a shot... and won! The whole thing was such a great experience... and now is one of my favorites! I can't get Pandemonium out of my head.

re: Most Disappointing Show You've Ever Seen

The Phantom of the Opera

And I actually felt bad for not liking it... coz I saw the movie first and absolutely adore it!!! I spent all the show trying to not fall asleep. Shame on me!

re: Does anybody care about Spelling Bee?

I loved it... won the lottery after my second chance. I'm sorry I didn't get to see Dan Fogler, but still, was such a great experience. They even give the winners these cute buttons saying "Beeing here is w-i-n-n-i-n-g".
re: Favorite Ensemble Song

For Now, It sucks to be me - Avenue Q
re: First Time to New York

You can always try the Avenue Q lottery, that's also very easy to win... but I recommend you to go on a tuesday or wednesday.
re: Sweeney SRO

Oh thank you! That's so nice of you... I'm from Guatemala and I just got back from NY... I was there for 2 weeks, saw 8 broadway shows and I loved it! Including winning 3 lotteries (Spelling Bee, Wicked and Avenue Q).
re: Sweeney SRO

There are also rear mezzanine tickets available for $36.25. I sat there and really enjoyed the show! :)
