No surprise here - Rachel York is my favorite. Others are (in no particular order, not necessarily B'way, and not necessarily recent) Joanie Mitchell, Jane Olivor, Carole King, Barbra Streisand, Laura Nyro, Judy Collins, Karen Carpenter, Natalie Cole and Bonnie Raitt. I usually listen to the ladies, but my favorite males of all time are Nat King Cole and John Raitt. I guess you can pretty well guess my era by this list!

Ok. i'm very pleased to see some people typing...ADAM PASCAL! His voice is orginal and unique and it always fits the characters he plays!...But as a CANADAIN, i of course have to include JEREMY KUSHNIER! come on people...he's amazing, super talented. I know there are Jeremy Kushnier fans out there on this site!!

You might have missed my post about Jeremy's last gig. I flew in just see to him. And I mean I got on a plane at 4pm, saw the show at midnight, and left NYC at 6am. That man could sing names out of a phone book and I would love every minute of it.

I can't believe i missed another one of his gigs!!i can't believe i missed you post!!!ahhhhh!!!well thank you another brillant Jeremy fan!!He's a singing master!!
AND....i can't beileve i forgot ANTHONY RAPP...i was listening to rent last night and as soon as i heard "December 24th 9pm eastern stantred time..." i was like SH*T...i didn't type him as one of my favorites...for a small guy he has an amazing voice!!The other day i rented the movie 'A Beautiful Mind' just to see him in it!!yay!!
