I'm not the biggest Buzzfeed fan, but this article is really worth a look. Some great perspectives from a lot of great performers.

That's great. I never knew Mia Farrow was so close to him. I wonder why After Eight wasn't asked for a quote, though.
Oh, he'll come in to fart his opinion in t-minus 10...9....8...
Has Sondheim written a really great tune yet?

I have to say Mia Farrow's quote made my BS detector go off. And Martha Plimpton's story is remarkably jejune.
I love Billy Magnussen's quote.
I love Billy Magnussen.
"Has Sondheim written a really great tune yet?"
Yes. A ton.
In the history of Broadway there are a handful who stand above the rest. He has not composed any of my all time favorite musicals yet when I page through my copy of Finishing the Hat, I am spellbound by his use of the language. He is a genius and it is both fitting and heartwarming to read those comments.
I like Hunter Ryan Herdlicka's story.
I can't believe I never noticed the lyric change until this article.

Wow. Reading these tributes has me in tears.
I love the word jejeune.
All those incredible talents and the best Buzzfeed could come up with as a tag for the end was, "More News About Anna Kendrick".
Love Benanti's quote: "I wanted to sing music that transports us to the most important place one can travel, our hearts."
Also, first time I saw Cheno talk about Sondheim. I know she sometimes sings "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" but I don't think I've ever seen her mention him in any interview she's had.
Martha Plimptons quote is so beautiful.
God, I love the man. I could read books on peoples interpretations of his songs and what he means to them.

Some really weird photos were chosen for this.
Martha Plimpton put genuine thought and emotion behind her words.
Anna Kendrick had a publicist write something.
I love the words that come out of Martha Plimpton's mouth. Enjoyed the Billy Magnussen and Hunter Ryan Herdlicka stories as well because they were true personal anecdotes.

If you don't think the Night Waltz is a really great tune, then maybe there's something wrong with your bumper, as a certain stripper once suggested.
This was surprisingly nicely done for a Buzzfeed listicle thing. I actually really enjoyed Martha Plimpton's quote. Though I must thank Namo for introducing me to the word jejune.
I love Plimpton's quote! (Also love the pairing of "Sweeney Todd" with the Sim "Christmas Carol.")
Side bar: I first heard "jejune" in Woody Allen's "Love and Death."
"Jejuneosity"
I like David Yazbek's lyric from DRS:
I'm sorry if I seem jejune
I promise I'll find my marbles soon
^^^
I was just about to post that Whizzer!
I first heard the word in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Me too, taz.
That song has many fun lyrics. I also love:
So veni vidi vici folks,
Let's face it, Je suis ici folks!
The final line gets me.
