Wicked Benefit/5th Anniversary???

For the Wicked Benefit/5th Anniversary who do you think the "celebrity cast" will be? Is there any chance of the original cast? Also will there be a lot of scenes added to this performance?

I did a search and didn't find anything. And don't kill me because I made a Wicked thread if you don't like it then just don't read it is that simple!!!

Any help/opinions would be great THANKS!!!!

No clue of who the "all-stars" will be but I'm going :)
I'm guessing they will be doing all the scenes that got cut from the first draft to the current show.

I'll be there as well.

I don't think it's a regular performance of the show...I think they're just performing cut songs/scenes.

As for the cast, who knows? I don't think Kristin will be there, since she's busy in LA with Pushing Daisies. I would think Idina would be there, but I have no idea.

Why would they hold a benefit for Wicked? It consistently sells out! They should spend this time and energy for a show that needs a benefit. Maybe a smaller show like Xanadu.

It's for a charity- the New York Restoration Project- not the show itself.

I'm pretty sure it's more of a concert feel...like aspects of the show that were cut are revealed and people perform cut numbers etc...

I don't think it's the show.

Idina didn't even show up to RENT's closing, so that makes me doubt she'll be at this.

She was touring in London. She has no concert dates listed on her website for almost the entire month of October, so who knows.

There is no confirmation of cast or lotto. It is not a performance of wicked. It is going to be a concert with scenes that were cut from the original script and previews. I think the show will feature previous Wicked cast members only and nott Hollywood or Broadways A list.

I heard crew members outside of the stage door this week saying that they are trying to bring in some big names for the concert (as in Hollywood names), but they don't know about anything yet.
