You can get the tickets online, by phone, at the theatre that its playing at nearest you, etc. Pretty much everywhere at this point. And yeah the whole costume change bothers me a bit but its certainly not something that will make me not want to go see the show anymore.

LOL...Carol Kane looks like she's starring in a Kabuki production.

the poofiness makes her look like a chicken. or a hen. whatever the fat ones are called.

and popular-elphie, your picture of megan is sooooooo adorable!

Be the change you wish to see in the world.

Yeah it's just not a flattering shape or cut. I wonder why they decided to change it. Maybe they thought it needed to look more bubbly and feminine? Who knows. I much prefer the sleeker, more classic version in the Broadway show.

the poofy is ugly, and it is REALLY ugly on kendra. something tells me they didn't make that with her body shape in mind. I know they definitely make costumes to fit each person because as new ensemble people join the NY production (there have been about 3 in the last month...? i'm pretty sure thats right), they each have new costumes just for them that fit them all wonderfully...

but that just looks bad on her. not flattering, at all.

Yeah, this is just my observation but normally when they make costume changes its usually because the current design wasn't fitting the actor or actress right among other reasons that come with taking a show on tour but I can't figure out why they made the change in the skirt. Again, its not as if I won't enjoy the show less because of it but it does make me curious since its obvious that it probably wasn't changed with the intention of making it more flattering to her figure.

I'm kinda curious...because they are doing a sit down in Chicago, does that mean costumes, sets, etc. will be different from that of the tour and more similar to NY? Or vice versa? Or just completely different from the both? Just wondering. Anyone have any ideas?

I think they can do whatever they want with the costumes, sets, etc. It's their show. Maybe the costume designer wishes she'd made the original skirt poofy, so now she can without everyone complainging that they changed the Broadway show. Just let them make their creative descisions.
