wicked4life, no one was complaining about the quality of the scan. They were noting that the angle at which the photo was taken wasn't very good. Jeez, calm down.

I can't remember what article it's in, but didn't they say that they added things for the tour? I was surprised about that, since usually they have to cut things. Then again, it's not like they're going to lose any money with the tour.

You know instantly when i saw the pic in the paper i said its not the same dress....and it bugged me so much and people said your crazy I had to pull out pics from bway....the bway dress has the scallops in rows i think three down the dress....the tour dress has scallops overlaped at intervals which makes it puffier and quite hideous in my opinion...I quite frankly was hoping this was a rehearsal costume...same as stephanies dress usually those arms are solid fabric....and i think its that that makes them look like drag queens...I see it in Toronto on Tuesday and so hopefully they have the nicer costumes actually in the show.

Thanks for posting that DT! What a great photo. The top on Elphaba's Act II dress changed completely during previews on Broadway. The skirt is the same hand dyed rows of lace, but the fitted top doesn't ruffle anymore, and has bits of fiber in it that drape from the bodice and sleeves. It's also comprised of multi colored fabrics, similar to the skirt.

I concur that I'm not too fond of this new Glinda gown.

Honestly - seeing that pictures makes me grumble. I mean what were they thinking? Also, even if the photog was at an angle, they could have a tripod and some remotes..

Wow, she looks great as Elphaba! I can't wait to see her in the tour!
