Maybe they just didn't give it their all. I suppose it was their off day? I was not super impressed with Kendra and actually liked Stephanie a bit more than when I heard her before in a clip from the show. It was cool to see the cast live and I think they did the most with the cramped space they had to perform in. Great exposure although I hate it when they just perform and don't get interviewed. Did we really need the Gary Busey interview?!!

Someone asked if he was drunk. He made a stement about brain damage and said that he was a spokesman for some organization for brain damage. Didn't he have a bad bike accident where he suffered head injuries?

As a huge wicked fan, i felt it lacked so much nergy and wasn't exciting or anything. The only thing i liked was the pinky promise at the end. that was a nice moment.

First off, I am a fan of the show, but I have to say that was not a good performance. There were too many people on a stage that size so it looked cramped. Stephanie has a couple good lines but was otherwise just okay, and Kendra was just not impressive at all. She sounded pretty bad and all the bouncing was silly. Talk show performances are rarely very good but I'm really hoping this isn't indicative of the quality of the tour.

for my first time seeing kendra and stephanie i could say that i enjoyed kendra..stephanie was ok.but it was such a short tidbit it was hard to judge. i think it's a shame that i'll always be comparing people to kristin and idina, but that's how it goes. how do you guys who have seen other people, shoshana, jennifer l, eden, think they compare?

If you didn't like the bouncing and silliness here, you need to see the show because there are so many important character developmental stages in that 3 minute and 31 second song.

If Kendra can make the bouncing work, then more power to her. It isn't fair to compare, but Kristin and J-La managed to convey the stages of G(a)linda's development without appearing quite so childish. It isn't fair to judge anyone's work based solely on a few minutes on Leno, but the reality is that not everyone will get to see her performance in whole so if she's not still with the tour by the time it comes near me (which I would doubt she will be) then that's all I have to base my opinion on.

Yeah, it was a really bad performance. But, it's really not one of my favorite numbers from the show anyway...

And I HATE that it was basically squeezed into the last 5 minutes of the show. Oh, and I hate Leno...

I didn't like the performance. There was too much head-voice and not enough belting. It took down the excitment of the song and made it "cute" or "nice." It's supposed to be this thrilling moment for the girls and they were just like "this is ok."

If I wasn't already a fan of the show, or of Broadway in general, I would never in a million years go see that show based on the performance last night. It was everything I actually dislike about musicals - and what gives them a bad reputation. It was bouncy and perky with stupid looking dancing costumes for no apparent purpose. Even worse, The Wizard of Oz is sacred to a lot of people - to make the witch look like a good guy, totally out of character, with no explanation for it at all, would definitely turn me off if I didn't know better. VERY disappointed!

I thought it was...JUST OK.
I think the main problem is that "One Short Day" is simply unimpressive out of context and does not work on a sound stage as small as Leno's. Other than that, Kendra left me worried that she was going to hit some of the "not so high" pitches towards the end of the song and the overload of vibratto from the both of them scared the hell out of me. Still, I would love to see the tour because of all the recent buzz. I just hope its not a disappointment!
