Wicked broadway I've heard Jennifer DiNoia to replace Nicole as Elphaba, but also heard Dee Roscioli too. Is it confirmed whether it is them or not? What about Glinda too? Would Laura replace Alli?
Wicked 1st Tour I've heard Meredith and Stephanie both could replace Donna on September 2nd, but I'm not quiet sure what to believe.
Does anyone have any rumors/confirmed cases of future replacements for any productions?
Also the Melbourne cast is going to close and move to Sydney next year

Unfortunately, interest in all this has diminished in the last few years. You will find the occasional person who still follows all things WICKED... but don't hold your breath.
Many have since moved onto other shows.

Posted: 5/17/09 at 1:38pmI'm just taking a guess, but I think Stephanie is someone currently in the tour, who understudies the role.

I know a lot of people are hoping Abby or Ashley wind up in one of the leads in some production somewhere just mainly because they are amazing and totally deserve it. My friend knows somebody who's partner is involved on the make-up department of one production (I won't say where so I don't get them in trouble) and the inside word is to look for Bridget or Brianna to move up to standby for Elphaba really soon. Personally I would love to see Camilla get a chance after seeing her go on for Nessarose in Act Two after you-know-who got sick in Act One. Friends of mine from lottery line would love to see either Denise or Delia by I find that doubtful and think it's way more likely Emily would even though my friend says she's old enough to play Madame Morrible, which is mean especially when she looks so much younger from the mezzanine. Some people say there's a really good chance for Faith as Nessarose but I do not see that at all especially with Gina there, and if you have seen her you know exactly what I mean. But knowing the producers, my bet is they lean more in the direction of Haley or Iris or Jilian.
Most of us have a dream that if and when ticket sales drop they will bring back Kristin and Idina for a strictly limited engagement of 6-weeks because a lot of us were too young back when they were in the show and our parents were dragging us to Beauty and the Beast.

Posted: 5/17/09 at 3:20pmI've heard amazing things about Meredith's Elphaba from the 1N Tour. I saw Stefanie Brown as Glinda here in Omaha about a week and a half ago. She's amazing and I would not be surprised at all if she gets to transfer to the Broadway company at some point.

First - that post of Namo was brilliant.
Second, you can't get much worse in terms of being too old for a role than the current Adam/Anthony touring production of Rent. Kinda sad to see guys who are almost 40 playing characters 20-22. But then, I can't see any other roles on Broadway that they could do.

How are two men in their late 30's playing 20-somethings (IN A REUNION TOUR) more pathetic than two women in their late 30's playing collge studients in the original cast of a show?
Oh, that's right, it's basically the same thing. Silly me.

In about a year I think stunt casting will start. I can't wait to see Ashlee Simpson as Galinda and Lisa Rinna as Elphaba!
What is your dream stunt casting?

Wicked producers, in a special press conference held today, have announced a surrogate mother program to produce future Glindas and Elphies. Eggs from originators Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, as well as fan favorites Stephanie J. Block and Megan Hilty, will be fertilized and implanted in maternal volunteers.
After these new stars are born, they will be given special training in scenery chewing, absurdly high belting and stage door decorum so that they can meet the demands of WICKED productions for many years to come.
