Wow I'm really bringing this one back from the dead, but has anyone else heard that the current elphie standby Emily Koch is departing the show? I'm just asking why? She's only been in the show since February. I haven't seen her live but from videos I've seen I'm impressed that she's just a standby. I'm hoping this is like a move for wicked to create 3rd national tour and they're using Emily, but I'd doubt that.

I'd love for them to create a third national tour! Maybe now that the UK tour is on its last stop, they can bring those sets and costumes over to the US and create one!

Why did Emily Koch leave so soon? I actually really liked her Elphaba, particularly for the school scenes in act 1.
