Wicked trailer

http://wickedthemusical.com/media/video_player.html

This is a WICKED trailer that Im guessing will soon be shown on television. I think its a pretty good commercial but I only wish they would have shown clips of the show being performed. What do you guys think??

re: Wicked trailer

It could just be a commerical for the show. Not that it needs much advertising.

I like the bass guitar with the synth as the house is flying!

re: Wicked trailer

i think they could have picked better music for it- like the intro chords or some of the defying gravity instrumental music or something more exciting and dramatic.

re: Wicked trailer

I think they were playing the "Gravity" background at the beginning. That'wa what I was talking about with the bass guitar and synth.

re: Wicked trailer

It sounds as if they have attempted to make it sound a little more 'rock' with the bass and synth bit. Which I like incidentally. Perhaps to appeal to a difference audience than if they played actual music from the show?

Actually the bass and synth in the beginning there is actually played in the hsow if you listen carefully. There is just usually *caugh**screaming**caugh** i mean singing on top of it.

re: Wicked trailer

I didn't like it in the fact that when looked at from a viewer's perspective, it doesn't make one want to see the show at all. I wouldn't think "hey, that showed me absolutely nothing except an extremely vague synopsis! Let's spend $100 a ticket to see that!"

re: Wicked trailer

What are you guys talking about? That music is in the show under the vocals!
#15

re: Wicked trailer

Yeah that was really boring. It definetly would not make me want to see the show at all.

re: Wicked trailer

Yeah, it was kinda boring. It doesnt really matter much, as the show need NO advertising, right now anyway

re: Wicked trailer

wow i actually liked that...

re: Wicked trailer

The commercial is pretty cool, but they really should have used clips from the show. The music they used was nice

re: Wicked trailer

Its not bad, just boring. Clips would make it great.

If you wanna see a good commercial, try this one from Rent (its been posted here before, so everyone may have seen it)

re: Wicked trailer

I liked that wicked commercial. I don't know if it would do much for a person who's never heard of Wicked, though
