Alicia Paola (Mdme. Morrible u/s) has already had her debut like 2 or 3 weeks ago. And I don't lose the hope that we get a cast recording

And I also think Marisol Meneses is the best cast of all the company, her TWWOTW is AWESOME. Amazing voice, she could be Elphaba and I will be really happy

Agreed!!! Marisol is fantastic!!!! As I told you, I wento on sunday to see Wicked for the forth time and I was supposed to be watching it with Danna Paola and Cecilia de la Cueva but there was a last minute change and I got Majo Pérez instead. MIND BLOWN! Majo is absolutely fantastic!!!! Yes, Cecilia fits more with Glinda's personality but Majo's voice and acting is just perfect!!! Loved her!!! And I actually got a chance to meet her after the show. She is the sweetest girl ever!!!! I can't get tired of it!

I am looking forward to see how well Sebastian and Kim perform in Boq's character.

We were in the same show Joorg23. I was a little shocked when I knew Majo was going to be Glinda, but she was STUNNING! What a perfect Glinda. Except for No one mourns the wicked, but I think it's the adaptation, because it was terrible with Cecilia too, I don't understand anything of what they're singing.
Danna did it perfectly! Ana may be good, but Danna is better... I love when she smiles during the play! She looks so authentic.
I met Danna Paola before the show in the food court of the mall, she was soooo nice!! I took a picture with her, she still was a little green from previous shows hehe.

I went yesterday for the second time and saw Ceci and Danna, both were really god, Ceci is just hilarius

I need to go and see it with Majo, again I think that vocally she is amazingly superiour than Ceci, I also met her and she is the most humble and sweet person in the world

By the way, I ask the junior stage manager (or something like that,I can't remember what he exactly told me that he is)about the cd and he told me that there aren't any news abit the recording and that he thinks this is actually not gonna happen, and of course, broke my heart.

Does any one knows any news about cast changes? I know that Danna is gonna start filmimg her movie in the USA aroun July, but she swears she isn't leaving the production, I think that it's gonna be horrible for her to fly from one country to another each week...

Have there been any rumors about a new cast? I read in an interview that Danna starts shooting her movie in October. So, she may leave in August to give her enough time to rest and prep for the movie? Maybe? I'm only asking because the Korean production that opened around the same time just had its first Elphaba change.

The only change in the cast has been the addition of Crisanta Gomez as Glind understudy because Lies Lar (the u/s) left the production. She was part of the ensamble and I understood that Marcia Peña, swing, is the one that step up for her.
I'm dyiiing to know if we're gonna have a new Elphie when Danna leaves to shoot her movie.

I would assume so. The Korean Elphie's just rotated the new one with the remaining Elphaba. I am also dying to find out because I'm not too familiar with the Mexico City theater scene.

Liesl Lar didn´t actually leave. She just took a break for filming her TV show in Argentina for a couple of months. She will be back in the cast as soon as she is done filming. And as far as I know, Crisanta Gomez is not an understudy. She is a guest star and stand by for Glinda. She will be having shows once a week once she is done reharsing and that will keep on until Liesl is back. And as for Danna, there will be no new Elphies. Juast Ana and Danna till the end. HAHAHA. Also, a close source from the production just told me that ther will be no cast recording as the rights for the CD is to hight and Danna is signed with another record company. So, even if they where to buy the rights of the soundtrack, Danna could not record it. So they rather not do it. It would not be affordable.

Blaxx; The answer would be just two. Majo Pérez and now Crisanta Gómez. Majo Pérez as of now, plays only 1 show a week as Glinda. She is currently performing in 3 musicals at once.

So, when filming begins on her movie,will the amount of times Danna performs be decreased? Filming a movie and performing in a musical is hard to do at the same time I would assume?

Well yeah, she has stated that she will be coming back and forth when filming begin. At that time Elphaba's understudies will start to perform as well. And let's remember that actually, a couple of months ago Danna was traveling back and forth between USA and Mexico promoting Wicked México in the USA and checking up some issues with the new movie coming up. At that time her number of performances per week decreased as well.

You are actually right, there is no understudy and that is why Cristanta came in. It´s just that she doesn´t have that title as the production is giving her actual performances unlike Liesl Lar.

Anyways!!! A member of the production just posted this video on youtube. It is so much fun and you can actually see the company during reharsals.

Last week I was talking with one of the cast members of Wicked and he told me that as far as they know, Wicked is supposed to be closing during Semana Santa (Passover, Spring Break) 2015. But they seem to be rushing the whole Lion King Situation! Auditions are already in 2 weeks!

For all the people talking about Danna and her Hollywood debut. This won't happen until the end of Wicked's season in Mexico. So that means she won't start filming until next summer according with a recent interview.

Yes! Majo is having her official presentation this wendsday (and I'm going!!!), and since last week she is having more presentations as Glinda, actually I believe she isgoing to have the same number than Cecilia.

She was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I'm so happy for her now that she is a lead too!!! She sings perfectly!!
I recorded almost everything but not allthe song have good quality

, I uplaoded TWAI, Thank goodness and No good deed, Elphaba was Ana, and now that I have seen both Danna and her, I can happily say Ana is my Elphaba, her NGD was heaven, but also her acting is reaaally good
