I sort of don't understand this whole Dirty Dancing thing. Cleveland was supposed to get it in its series next summer, but subsribers were called last week and told that it was being replaced by the Fiddler Topol Farewell Tour. Then, in an article from the local paper, it said that Dirty Dancing "pulled the plug on the tour".
I have no idea why this would happen, as it has been so successful at every one of its stops (even though it is supposedly hurrendous) and was supposed to be in Cleveland for 5 weeks. I assumed it would only scrap a tour because of a possible Broadway run.
On the bright side, I now get to see Fiddler for my first time instead of suffering through Dirty Dancing...
