What do you guys think?
I certainly hope so. I LOVED the show! I was smiling from ear to ear from the moment it started. It was so joyous, and so great.
Is there any word on when the cast album is being released?
At this point, I think it has good chances of being nominated for...
Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Corbin Bleu)
Best Choreography (Denis Jones)
Other possible nominations that may seem like long shots at this point are Best Orchestrations and Best Costume Design of a Musical.
I'm actually happy I caught this show too, it was very cute. I took a friend to see it and it was his 1st Broadway show, and what a great choice it was! I was very entertained.
I hate to be the thread monster, but I don't know why this needs its own thread? The general Tony nominations thread seems to still be pretty functional...

Great choice to take someone who's never seen a Broadway musical to. I loved it! Wish I could have seen it again. I have the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade still on my dvr when the cast did "Blue Skies & Shaking The Blues Away."
The night that I saw the show "Shaking The Blues" got a standing O in the middle of Act 1. The usher said on the way out, "That happens pretty much every night."
Can we just assign actual "Thread Monitor" legends? Concierge could be one.

That thread is filled with so many posts already, that it's probably easier to keep track of one discussion in a separate thread.

Double it -- this was probably one of the least enjoyable shows I've ever seen.
