As of now it is closing June 19th, will THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE pull a SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM and extend at least a few weeks longer?
I'm not sure why it would. Just look at the gross. That show has to be PURGING money. It's not like it has any Tony buzz either.

As much as I enjoyed it, I highly doubt it.
The ENTIRE rear mezzanine was empty when I saw it.

is this thread some sort of sociology class project to see just how bitchy theater queens can get???
whatever2, that was funny!

Same could be said for the entire board. Anyway, I don't think so. I really liked the show but I don't think anyone else did.
I don't think anyone's been bitchy in the thread?
Nope. Look at the grosses. They would probably only LOSE money by extending.

June 19th will be the final performance. It will not extend.
LOVED this show.
It's selling at around 50% at high discounts. Extending wouldn't make sense, but the Roundabout doesn't always make sense, does it?
Everyone I know has walked out at intermission (including me) - the writing is some of the most awkward, clichéd stuff ever seen. Not drug-addled incoherence like Wonderland, just ham-handed, trite, and amateurish.

How many times are you going to tell us how bad you think this show is, newintown? It's a flawed piece, but it spoke to many people. You weren't one of them, but jeez, enough already. In any case, you won't have it to kick around much longer. It will close June 19th.

I'm one of the few that loved it. While I thought Act 1 was really boring for the first 30 minutes I'm glad I stuck around for the end and for all of Act 2. Such an emotional rollercoaster ride. I'm also a huge Nicole Parker fan. If it wasn't for her being in it I don't think I would care for it at all. :/

I really enjoyed it. Saw it twice actually.
We enjoyed it as well
This has as much chance of extending as Wildhorns Dracula has of being revived.
