This is all so bizarre. I love Swenson, but this seems like such stunt casting. I hope Will gets a new show soon as he is a great talent!

He just finished Pericles at Theatre For A New Audience on April 10th, and will be doing "The Pirates of Penzance" at Barrington Stage in July so it's not like he's *not* working.

I think the show is a hoot, and Swenson will be joining the other uber talents on stage. No disgrace in that.
Actors want to work, and I respect that.

Maybe he's simply interested in performing with his friends for a week in a silly and mindless show with a paycheck just being an added bonus. Sometimes people do things just for the fun of it, you know.

I didn't even think of it like that but you're probably right… Plus it's probably pretty convenient with his wife just a hop, skip, and a jump away!
