Hopefully we’re only days away from the announcement of the release date of the digital version that’s set for September. Can’t wait to listen to this fantastic cast again.

The same label recorded and released the Mr. Saturday Night cast album in about five weeks. Into the Woods is probably a slightly larger project, and we know Julia Lester likely recorded separately from the rest of the cast so that could have caused a slight delay, but hopefully it’ll be out soon!

it will not be on cd just streaming and that is bad for cd collect like me.

It’s already been announced that a physical CD release will follow after the digital release.

where is the cd for the visitor and mr Saturday night because it is the same record company as into the woods and they are just streaming.

I was hoping there would at least be some news before the cast changes (a release date at least). Maybe since digital is first they’ll do a surprise drop a La Beyoncé or Taylor Swift, with CD and a Barnes and noble exclusive vinyl to follow.

On the Concord Theatricals site, under recordings, if you click on the album covers, it will take you to a found.ee site that will give you options for how to purchase/stream that album.
A found.ee does exist for Into The Woods but just lists that i releases in September. There is an option to download the booklet but it just takes you back to the concord website. You can see what will probably be the cover art, though.
