"Winnable" lotteries

"Winnable" lotteries

Hey!

I'll be spending january in NYC and I'd like too see as many Broadway shows as possible, and to do so I'll do rush for almost every show that offers them and enter pretty much all lotteries I can. So, out of curiosity, I was wondering what are the most easily winnable lotteries?

I know Hamilton is the hardest one (I read it somewhere that there are 10k people in it each day or something) but what are some the lotteries that are usually easier to win?

Every lottery/show is different! I don't think there is such thing as a winnable lottery. I've had a lot of luck with Cats (seen it 3 times and won every time... I probably just jinxed myself now but oh well!), Something Rotten (it's closing this week), and Matilda. In my opinion, you're better off with the rush line. As for Hamilton, my college roommate entered once and granted it was her first time doing the lottery and she won... very rare.

Stick to rush or TMD/TKTS!!

On Your Feet was pretty winnable in the late summer/fall...Now sure if that's still the case...

I've heard of people winning the IN TRANSIT lottery multiple days in a row. Just depends if you want to spend your time watching that.

It closes 1/8/17, but I entered the "Falsettos" lottery for 2 Sat performances and a Sunday performance (all for the same weekend) and won twice. Great front-mezz seats. I wish undo up going twice because I loved it so much!

On Your Feet!, In Transit and Phantom of the Opera are pretty easy I would think... also Wicked in person... tried it one time and I would say 85% of people there got tickets...

Also I think The Humans might be kinda easy but it's closing in January...

I won the Book of Mormon twitter lotto a couple weeks ago on my first try. They only get a few hundred entires per day and about 10 or so win. Good odds.

I just saw The Humans today by winning the lottery. I was psyched since it was a show I was not sure I wanted to pay full price, but figured if I won the lottery I'd see it. 40 dollars-Mezzanine row F center.

...every lottery is as "winnable" as is "losable."

While that is correct, statiscally some are easier than others. The demand for In Transit, On Your Feet and The Encounter isn't nearly as high as for Hamilton, making them much easier to win... which was the original question.

For those who won the lottery for On Your Feet and Cats, could you tell me where your seats were?  I'd love to see both shows.  Thanks in advance!

IM not sure about on your feet but with cats it can vary. I have sat in the orchestra 3 times with the lottery and twice in the mezz. It strictly depends on availability. My orchestra seats were twice on the extreme house right the last seat on the aisle and once in the center orchestra row R. In the mezz I sat front mezz and last row of the mezz, so it varies.

For On Your Feet when I won in September, I got 4th row, Center Mezz. It was a pretty good seat. Don't know what it has been lately.

Won Cats in early November and it was orchestra R 17 and 19, great seats for the price imo...

On Your Feet in late November and it was orchestra L13

I just won The Great Comet lottery for tonight--first time trying that one.

I also won On Your Feet the first time I tried.
I won Matilda last year and Fully Committed too (blech).

Haven't won Hamilton, Book of Mormon, or Dear Evan Hansen yet which I try daily, whenever possible.
