I think a twelve year old using clipart made this in 1994.
Also the golden letters spelling Wiz unsettles me. ![]()

It's very similar to the art they used for the encores production in 2009

Can't say I hate it more than the terrifying robot Carrie artwork from SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE.
But it doesn't give me much hope for the production.

I can't imagine Cirque not changing this at a later date (and especially for the Broadway run). Their shows generally have great logos.

The Peter Pan artwork eventually changed as the air date approached. Hopefully this will too.

Not compelling and tells us nothing about the show. Paging Frank Verlizzo!

There's a Zumba studio near my place that uses the same exact dancing shadows. That's not good. I'd like it a lot better without those silhouettes, they just cheapen the whole look.

I would like to thank LizzieCurry and ray-andallthatjazz86 for making me literally laugh out loud.

The artwork always changes. Why do people always freak out about this?

While the Peter Pan Live artwork did change the Sound of Music Live artwork did not. So there's a precedence for both.

Bilbo, I'm not sure that saying we don't like the artwork qualifies as "freaking out," as the kids say.
