Posted: 8/29/04 at 2:14amMolina isn't technically a replacement. He created the role in the current revival, thus he didn't replace anyone, anymore than Donna Murphy in WT or Bernadette in Gypsy or Banderas in Nine or Cummings in Cabaret were replacements in their revivals.

Posted: 8/29/04 at 2:17amI liked Mandy Gonzales, and I definitely thought that out of everyone in the cast when I saw it, Toni Braxton was the weakest link, although it didn't ruin the show or anything. And she looked really pretty on stage, lol.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt, I tried to ignore the bad things some people had to say about his performance, but he was really....bland. I've never missed anybody for 2 and a half hours like I missed Norbert that day.
