tishabel - though i'm sad to admit, i once was a diehard *nsync fan and joey's nickname was "fat one" for that exact reason
the first time i saw rent was because he was in it, yeah sad to say but true, he could sing but the whole time i was like it's joey - if i hadn't picked up the soundtrack after seeing adam pascal in aida i never would have put the show among my favorites!!

Posted: 9/7/04 at 9:41pmI'm glad someone noticed how bad Susan Egan was in Millie and also Christian Borle was the worst Jimmy imaginable...No one could replace Gavin...What about Vanessa Williams in Into the Woods??? ...well I guess she was the original in the revival but still horrible.
And you think of all of the things you've seen, and you wish that you could live in between ,and you're back again only different than before...

Did anyone else like John Secada in "Cabaret?" I saw his very first performance and was BLOWN AWAY at how perpared and comfortable he was in that role so early in his run.

Posted: 9/8/04 at 4:51pmSee, I thought Norbert brought a lot to a part that didn't really have a heck of a whole lot of to play. He brought these little subtlties to the role that Joey just didn't do. It seemed to me as if he was just going through the motions.
