I've actually been better. But at the same time, I am not entirely bummed. Although earlier today I was consoling one of my friends with the phrase: "Woman, don't bogart that joint." lmao I could not believe myself.

I cannot stop listening to "I'm Alive"...and trying to replay the show in my head, and, not gonna lie, trying to learn the dance (don't judge). haha i miss the show so much!

(and y'know, before seeing it, I always skipped "Suspended in Time" cause it sorta bored me, but after seeing Elizabeth do it, it's one of my favorite songs in the entire show.)

^ agreed. Kerry Butler was good, but some of the things Elizabeth did with the role made me laugh SO hard! Between Max & Cheyenne, though.........idk lol it's a toss-up for me.

Oh, I prefer Cheyenne definitely. . as likeable as the guy was. . I think Max Von Essen was the weakest part of this cast. .

Funny how we all see things differently...and that's cool. I did not see Cheyenne in Xanadu, but I have seen him in other shows and I think he's wonderful, but Max was the reason we came to Chicago, and I enjoyed every minute he was on stage. I loved his Sonny, and for me, hearing Max sing is one of those things that makes life good.

Saw the show in both La Jolla and Chicago, and couldn't have had more fun. Cheers to the entire cast and crew. Everyone of them did a fantastic job, and made Xanadu "magic"! I hope they have a blast in Tokyo.

It was also great seeing those FAMOUS Xanadu Bears at the theatre, and saying hello to a few fellow BWWers

The bears will go down in Xanadu Tour history and will no doubt be a favorite memory of Chicago.

Aww! Thanks, guys. It means so much to me that you enjoyed them.

I was in the WTP area today and saw a cab with a Xanadu advert on its top. It made me sad and I thought, "What a bummer." And then I remembered the Bummer exchange from the show and Elizabeth's crazy Australian accent and laughed. Even though I'm bummed that Xanadu has left Chicago, I'm so glad that the tour gets to live on elsewhere.

Yeah, I was down around Michigan too and decided to pass the theater just for shiggles. What a bad idea.

But then I bought a new shirt and was happy. :) lol

Oh, hi Lakezurich~
It was nice seeing you at the show.
Besides the show, which we saw the entire final week of (call us crazy)...we played tourists and went to Navy Pier (loved the stained glass), the Art Institute (wow), "the bean", the Hancock building (that was pretty wow too...and we were thrilled to see a Xanadu poster on the 90th floor!!) and lots and lots of downtown walking. Loved Chicago!
Mauriposa~It is indeed a bummer, but we will always have our memories of that "roller dees-cooouw" (it's hard to type in 'crazy Australian accent' hehehe

Oh, and Johnnyd~One of my favorite memories will be seeing you get that souvenir on your cheek from the muses!! Too cute!!

lol I had no idea so many people knew about our bears! I'm so glad we brought them with :) hehe.

I do miss le Xanadu. Good thing there's RENT tomorrow night to look forward to!!
