Xanadu Tour, sans Stanley

Does anyone know who is playing Kira on the Xanadu tour? Unless I'm mistaken, Elizabeth Stanley would have left already for Million Dollar Quartet rehearsals. The tour site hasn't been updated.

I was wondering the same thing because I'll be seeing the show in a few weeks. Maybe her understudy, Tiffany Topol, took over. I heard she was great.

Is the tour on hiatus right now, or is it still going? Because I saw that Max von Essen is in New York right now, or did he leave the show too?

Yes, it is on hiatus and will resume Febraury 16 in Providence, RI.

Topel is too valuable as a swing to get bumped up. I doubt the producers would hire another swing and take the time to teach her every track. They will probably get someone just for the part of Kira.

I'm guessing she'll definitely be gone by Cleveland, but I'm keeping my fingers (and toes!) crossed that I'll get to see her in Pittsburgh!

I hope that Tiffany Topol is the replacement for Ms. Stanley. I would really like to see her as Kira as I happen to be in Dallas the week that Xanadu is there and I have heard that she is a fantastic Kira!A friend of mine saw her as Erato in Seatle and said that she is absolutely adorable.

She was still there yesterday, PPAC Feb. 21. We were on stage, it was great fun! Jesse Nager wow!

I saw the show last night and Anika Larsen has replaced Elizabeth.

Oh I was so hoping to see Tiffany Topol in Dallas, especially after seeing Elizabeth in La Jolla. I do not understand why they would not replace Elizabeth with her understudy Tiffany. I am hearing from alot of people that this girl is fantastic. Maybe we will get to see her in another show once the tour is over.

When I was on vacation with my family and saw Xanadu in La Jolla I fell in love with it. I also happen to be a student at the same university that Tiffany graduated from and was so excited to see that she was on the tour. I will be in Dallas for a family wedding which gives me the opportunity to see the show again so I joined the thread to follow the show since I noticed on the website that some of the cast members had changed. I was just hoping to see an alumn from my school perform.

I just got back a while ago from seeing the show in Pittsburgh, and Anika Larsen is excellent!! Her Kira is very charming, and she's got incredible vocal control!

It was a great evening!
