Love all the signs in the back.
They were dancing to "I'm Alive." Hehe.

Cheyenne's last note on Don't Walk Away was awesome.
Well, Cheyenne is awesome.
That is absolutely Xanadu's best performance on any of these talk shows.
Very impressive.

I don't know. Between this performance and that of In the Heights on THE VIEW, i wonder what middle America is thinking about the new Musicals on Broadway nowadays.
I agree. And I love how they incorporated everyone into it with the medley.
Maybe I shouldn't have written this show off so fast...

This show really seems to be gaining steam. The question is will it snag that Tony?
I am such a big fANADU! I love the show and I made 3 Threads out of the show, that's how much I love it.. Though I will say..I dont know about those clothes that the muse are wearing same with Kira looks so....I dont know the word...awful?
Its so out of context! between this and THE VIEW's performance. Honestly I dont know if they will pick up any sales? Its coming across as "chessy" and "horrendous". I cant believe.. I am saying this? forgive me! ...its just ....bad!??
sorry fellow fANADU..just being honest!

On the CBS website they call it the Broadway revival. Oy.
I love Jackie Hoffman at the end when they don't let her introduce herself and she nods her head like "of course" and just walks away in disgust.
Aside from their The View performance, I thought this was their best one by far. I loved how the ensemble did the Magic hand movements while entwined in the Xanadu sign, and how the I'm Alive choreography was slowed down. It really worked well! And technically, just about everything worked in their favour.
But seriously, it does look like they're spending some bucks on the Tony performance, but would it kill them to have someone bring in suitable costume alternates? It's starting to look like they raided the Jujamcyn vault for the Wedding Singer costumes.
But I'm starting to feel a lot better about how they'll show at the telecast, this was definitely a step in the right direction.
I love the ol' Chenbot.
We thought Jackie was going to cut someone at the end of the segment.
We also enjoyed the shoddy awkward camera work when they thought something was going to happen and didn't, or when something DID happen and they were shocked.
Overall, we loved it big time!
I do feel bad for Jackie, but it sounded like Chenbot was saying something like "we have a few extra seconds" before her mic turned on so clearly it was a spur of the moment thing because they ran short (the hosts already said bye before the performance) and they just didn't see her. I can't imagine she took it too badly, considering the circumstances.
