It's not an awful list. I would personally put CABARET at number 2, with WEST SIDE STORY being third.

The Wizard of Oz is a good movie I just don't understand it's appeal. It's fun to watch but after you watch it I don't think it leaves you satisfied. Which is probably why I found Wicked so enjoyable. Finally satisfied.

I agree with most of those, except for South Park. I would've added on:
The Phantom of the Opera
Rent
Gypsy (Rosalind Russell)
Gypsy (Bette Midler)
Fiddler on the Roof (how did they forget this one?)
Mame
Annie Get Your Gun (how did they forget this one?)
Dreamgirls (how did they forget this one?)
and if they can have BATB, add on The Little Mermaid
and just because it's such a great show and I love the book, A Chorus Line
oh, and Sweeney Todd
and Bedknobs and Broomsticks

How does Wizard of Oz leave you unsatisfied? Seriously? It's CONSISTENTLY in Top 10 movie lists, usually somewhere in the top 5.

It's an AMAZING film, that has a better re-watchable factor than MOST movies today, and of yesterday. And I defy you to find me 15 people to agree with you.

Once is amazing!! And so is South Park... even Sondheim has shown he is a huge fan of it.

Any such list that would include Hairspray and Grease over Fiddler or Oliver has no credit in my book. (points for Once, though)

South Park DEFINITELY belongs ont hat list. Grease and Hairspray, not so much, certainly not in front of Chicago.
