Bernadette Peters does too exist in the world of Smash. But Patti LuPone doesn't--because Bernadette Peters is playing a character based on Patti LuPone, if Patti LuPone had a daughter instead of a son.
So the question is: Who starred in Evita in Smashland?

Though technically that poster was the art for the Workshop production from 1994 which in fact did not feature Jesse L. Martin.
When the version of the show that we know now was at the NYTW it had different artwork than the poster in Smash. Artwork much more similar to what we now all recognize as the "Rent logo".

I wish one of this great posts would happen on the show and it would be a paradox of space of time, but the only negative effect from that would be that Sam vaporized out of existence. And I want Ellis to come back and have sex with Kyle.
