If you attend a live performance purely for entertainment, you are missing the EXPERIENCE that you would get by seeing Irena's Vow. Whether you are young or old, Christian or Jewish, reserved or emotional, you will come away from this performance as a changed person. There are few words to describe what you will take away from this true story. I encourage you and your friends to commit to attending this show. You will rush to tell others. You will be changed as a human being. Hopefully, you will have the opportunity to hear from Irena's real life daughter take questions from the audience. That is what completes the story.

Wow. That posting was more heartfelt and had more emotion in it than in the entire 90 minutes I sat watching Tovah phone in her performance.

It IS likely the OP is a press person shilling for the show. But it is also very likely that it's a newbie because fans have been told about Broadwayworld and asked to show support for the show if they like--to vote in the Fans' Choice Vote. And there's nothing wrong with that. If you are in a show that you believe in, you SHOULD do what you can to promote it.

And that's exactly what this cast has been doing. Mixed reviews and 0 Tony noms be damned, they have been doing outreach and getting the word out. And guess what? The show is still running. And word of mouth is good.

So, if you hate the show, fine. Why revel in that hate? Why obsess with the negative? And then slam Tovah Feldshuh, accusing her of posting on this board? Why should it upset you SO much that other people might like something you don't? That people would want to promote their show?

Some of you think you know so much and it's painfully obvious what you don't get.

I dont like shilling, unless you are up front about it. This poster joined, shilled and ran.

A lousy shill transparently came on here and a few of us had some fun making fun of then and the show. True, it wasnt all that funny, but few things ever are on bww.

If Tovah came on here and asked bww to support her show, I'd think nothing of it. I've never had a problem with ANYONE from promoting their own show.

Kalimba made a joke about it being Tovah...and it was funny.

I went to the Harmonic Convergence in Central Park and in the center of the circle there were five women and one man who were blowing on conch shills and they said we should all join in and make sounds like the conch shill if we wanted to.

Ahhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
