You want bad artwork?

Yeah. I've disliked everything here but The Wild Party art, which I always found really cool.
My least favorite in recent memory was this one:
Bad show art was a lot more charming before everything was done with Photoshop, that's for sure.

I don't mind the DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS poster as much because, well...Pablo Schreiber is smokin', and I loved the production.

I don't know why none of mine are showing up, but the ones I tried to post were:
ON GOLDEN POND (James Earl Jones)
INTO THE WOODS (revival)
CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Ashley Judd)
and also:
'NIGHT MOTHER (Edie Falco)
SOUVENIR
HOT FEET
THE PIRATE QUEEN
GREASE (revival)

DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS was gorgeous. I had no interest in seeing the production until I saw that. Simply gorgeous.
The A CHORUS LINE artwork, however, was stale and lifeless.

Posted: 5/13/10 at 3:20amI guess I can almost understand liking the aesthetic on the Desire Under the Elms art, but it's just godawful graphic design.

Posted: 5/13/10 at 2:15pmIt's not fair to open this thread to school productions, many of which were probably done by a volunteer parent or something. Terrible Broadway posters, on the other hand, have the collective brilliance of top-paid designers and advertising agencies who, for one reason or another, all lose their sense and taste simultaneously.
