Posted: 7/6/07 at 8:50amI'm willing to shell out 120 a ticket....but I agree...I hope to get something pretty good for that price.,

Posted: 7/6/07 at 8:52amHopefully the rumors about the hugeness of the area of "premium" seats (those of the $450 variety) are vastly overestimating their numbers. Otherwise I don't think the $120 tickets are going to be great. The Hilton is a BARN.

Well for one thing, according to the website, group tickets are on sale, so there goes one rumor out the window.
It also says that tickets go on sale on 7/15, no specifying the time, so I assume midnight.

Perhaps someone at Ticketmaster would know?
I love when they're so specific.

Yes, yes they have.
PS: Not everyone is asleep at midnight.

Can someone please tell me what Broadway show has gone on sale at midnight?
Not being sarcastic....just an honest question.

FUNNY GIRL -- online tickets went on sale at midnight in late December 1963.

I thought that as soon as it was 12:00am on 7/15 then the tickets would go on sale, but it would make sense that the tickets go on sale around the time that the box office opens up.
I'm going to be trying for the 120 seats, hoping that the seats are decent.

Since group tickets are now on sale, if I order them now, before July 15th, will I have a good chance at getting decent seats? Or do you think a lot have been taken by scalpers? Our group will be seeing the show in mid March, so it's kind of far off, but I'd love to our tickets before they go on sale to the public!

Posted: 7/8/07 at 9:32amJust a quick follow-up fyi. I just called Ticketmaster and they knew NOTHING about when tickets go on sale - literally nothing! Very frustrating!!

Posted: 7/8/07 at 10:30amAre they not doing any sort of AMEX or Visa pre-sale?

I checked both TeleCharge and TicketMaster. Tickets for YF are not yet on sale for the Broadway run.
Since the play opens in November, I would suspect, that the tickets would go on sale at some point in late July or August.
I'm going to be trying to get tickets for $120.00 seats. At least with Telecharge, you can pick your seats.

Don't be disappointed when those $120 seats turn out to be REAR SIDE ORCHESTRA!
With price points at $450 and $375, and the fact that GROUP SALES have already started, those seats at $120 are looking worse and worse.
What group out there is going to take a bus into Manhattan with $450 tickets in hand? NOT MANY!
Groups are probably going for the 3rd price level at $120. I think we can be sure of that.

Posted: 7/8/07 at 12:45pmI just saw PQ at the Hilton in the right side, row Q...they weren't bad seats. The theatre doesn't seem that big...I'm suremost if not all of the seats are good.

Posted: 7/8/07 at 1:08pmI had a dream two nights ago that I was at the Hilton Box Office trying to get one of the $25 seats in the last row of the theatre for the first preview.
