Only in The Movies from Kiss of the Spider Woman
Sympathy, Tenderness (reprise) from Jekyll and Hyde
Why Did I Listen to That Man? from Urinetown
Finale of Cabaret (but i guess that's done with interpretation)

Like, any part of Sweeney Todd, though i really like Mrs. Lovett's death at the end of the Final Sequence.
Crucifixion from Jesus Christ Superstar
Finale of Godspell
Finale of Little Shop of Horrors
Now (It's Just the Gas) from Little Shop of Horrors

"No One Has Ever Loved Me from Passion" Well certainly my favorite if it counts! (I didn't think it quite did because she doesn't die for what, 3 days after? But pretty close.

All That Jazz - CHICAGO (Roxie kills Fred)
Finale - THE KING AND I
This one is not really a song WHEN somebody DIES but a song when somebody HAS JUST DIED so I'm adding it in:
Till We Reach That Day - RAGTIME

All the 'Death' songs from Les Mis...so many of them. Little Fall of Rain and Gavroche's death are especially sad.
You Must Love Me from Evita...although wasn't this only in the film version? I know it's being put into the revival but I'm sure it was written for the film.
And the biggie - 'Tell Me it's Not True' from Blood Brothers. I sobbed through the end of that show.

I have to add "What Would I do" from Falsettos, which happens right after Wizzer dies. Also I can't remember the name of the song, but in "The Rothschilds" when the father his dying, I think the title of the song is "My Sons". Also I know a lot of people have never seen the musical version of The Diary of Anne Frank "Yours, Anne" but the finale, Anne sings this beautiful song while her father is telling what happened to each person in the show. Very sad. I know I find all the musicals that no one knows anything about.

During The Judge's Return in Sweeney Todd when Mrs. Lovett tries to backtrack right before she gets killed. That is one of my favorite parts of the show!

"A Little Fall of Rain" from Les Mis
"Come to Me(Fantine's Death) from Les Mis
I am not a crier at musicals and whatever, but when these songs are doing well I can come close to crying.

JerseyGirl2,
so far Madonna is the only one who has performed "You Must Love Me" in EVITA. It was written for her for the movie. The song will be added to the stage score for the first time for the revival which will open in London's West End this year.

I know. I was meaning to comment on the fact that it's hard to like it better when any other Evita does it if no other Evita has.

Sweeney Todd - Johanna (Act 2)
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

My pick is "Make Me Happy" from Lippa's version of THE WILD PARTY.

for sheer laugh value Romeo and Juliet (reprise) from reefer madness;
we are just like romeo and juliet
we're happy young and *god awful cough* hemraging blood...
i used to like the king and i finale until i saw a godawful high school version, the tearful reprise of "whistle a happy tune" was sung as loudly and happily as the first version, the anna actually upstaged the death

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

Technically Angel is already dead, but I love "I'll Cover You Reprise" from Rent.
