5. Big Black Lady Stop the Show (Martin Short) -- hilarious satire and still a GREAT SONG -- inside humor at its best.

4. Send In the Clowns (A little night music) (classic / Sondheim's best)

3. Good Morning Baltimore (Hairspray -- one the best opening songs ever written for a musical -- unbelievable opening number for a soloist)

2. Unusual Way (Nine) (best lyrics EVER)

1. Bring Him Home (Les Miz) (perfection -- I cry when i hear it every time)

1. At The Ballet- A CHORUS LINE

I just love AT THE BALLET. To me, it is one of the most perfectly written numbers ever written. The lyrics have such emotional meaning. And the melodies are fabulous.
